REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike by TIER app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during a rental? First activate the park mode in the app and then press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike.
RETURN
Return your e-bike at any RVK eBike or RVK e-Bike station. Push it in the dock for recharging (if available) and close the lock by pressing down the lever. If you return your bike outside of a station, a service fee of at least 20 € will be charged.

Our tariffs
Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time on one account. The monthly/annual rate and special conditions usually only apply to the first bike. Rentals between 5pm and 8am the following day are charged at a flat rate of €3.
VRS-Chipcard owners enjoy concessions with RVK e-Bike Bergisches e-Bike, Eifel e-Bike, KVB-Rad Cologne, wupsiRad Leverkusen and nextbike Bonn (except for SchülerTickets). The accounts can be linked by choosing VRS as a partner in your customer account. For verification provide your VRS chipcard customer number without special characters (add a 0 at the beginning if your number has 12 digits).
Basic tariff
2 € / 30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is 18 €/24 h.
Monthly tariff
15 € / month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 2 € (max. 18 €/24 h).
Annual tariff
60 € / year
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 2 € (max. 18 €/24 h). The tariff is valid within the RVK e-Bike scheme as well as Eifel e-Bike scheme.
VRS basic tariff
1 € / 30 min
You pay a discounted 1 € / 30 min (max. 12 €/24 h).
VRS monthly tariff
12 € / month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 18 €/24 h).
VRS annual tariff
48 € / year
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 12 €/24 h). The tariff is valid within the RVK e-Bike scheme as well as Eifel e-Bike scheme.
