REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge but there is an annual fee of €3 which will be debitted to verify your account.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike by TIER app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during a rental? First activate the park mode in the app and then press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike.
RETURN
Return your bike at any public street or junction within the pink flex zone or at an official station. Press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from the zones or stations, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged. Returning bikes in another city is not allowed.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €3 deposit is required, which will be used as basic charge when renting the first bike in Bonn or can be used in other fare types. You can change your preferred payment method at any time.
RENTAL
Rent your e-cargo easily at one of the e-cargo stationse-cargo stations: Beuel Bahnhof, Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, Stiftsplatz, Frankenbad, Kaiserstraße, An der Elisabethkirche, Wilhelm-Levison-Straße. Scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike by TIER app and the FrameLock will open automatically.

RETURN
Return your e-cargo to its home station (printed on the bike). Press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from an e-cargo station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged. Returning bikes in another city is not allowed.

Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to only the first bike. The monthly rate is valid throughout Germany (except for Oldenburg, Bremen, Kiel, Usedom and Nuremberg). You can change the tariff in your account settings.
Basic charge: For using nextbike Bonn, a basic annual charge of €3 applies and will be charged when renting the first bike. The fee is not automatically charged in the following year as long as no bike is rented again in Bonn.
Basic rate
1 € / 30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is €8 / 24 h.
Monthly tariff
10 € / month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at €1 (max. €8 / 24 h).
Annual tariff
48 € / year
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 8 €/24 h).
VRS – Basic rate
0 € / 30 min per day
You cycle 30 minutes per day free of charge (can be spread over several rentals). For each additional half hour, you pay €1 (max. €8 / 24 h).

Basic rate
3 €/30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is €27 / 24 h. For rentals between 5pm and 8am a night flatrate of 3 € applies.
VRS basic rate
1,50 €/30 min
You pay max. €18 / 24 h per rental. For rentals between 5pm and 8am a night flatrate of 3 € applies.
