Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Scan the QR code on the bike with the nextbike by TIER app. You will receive a 4-digit lock code which you enter into the BikeComputer. Press 'OK'. The fork lock will then open automatically.
PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during a rental? Park your bike by pressing 'P' on the BikeComputer. Close the lock. The rental will continue. To continue the ride open the lock again with the 4-digit lock code.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station at no extra costs. Press OK on the BikeComputer and close the forklock. If you return your bike away from the zones or stations, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The monthly rate is valid throughout Germany (except for Oldenburg, Bremen, Usedom and Nuremberg). You can change the tariff in your account settings.
Basic tariff
1 €/15 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is 15 €/24 h.
Monthly tariff
10 €/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 15 €/24 h).
Annual tariff
60 €/year
