Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Die Registrierung ist kostenlos, lediglich zur Verifizierung deines Zahlungsmittels musst du ein Fahrtguthaben von 20 € hinterlegen, welches du später verfahren kannst.
RENTAL
Rent your e-cargobike in Essen at one of the e-cargobike stations. Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your e-cargobike to its home station printed on the box and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from that station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account.
Basic tariff
2.50 €/30 min
1.25 € / every add. 30 min. The maximum daily charge is 25 €/24 h per rental.
