Registration
Register in our app or on the website with your student E-mail address (…@uni-potsdam.de bzw. …@fh-potsdam.de bzw. …@filmuniversitaet.de bzw. …@health-and-medical-university.de). You will then be sent a confirmation link. After this link has been clicked and verified, your account will be automatically activated.
You’ve already registered with nextbike but didn’t use your student E-mail address, or you added your E-mail address after signing up? Log in via website, enter your new E-mail address and choose your university as your partner. You can also contact our customer service at +49 (0)30-69205046.
Conditions
All students of participating institutions receive 3 free hours daily in Potsdam with the rental bikes from nextbike by TIER. The contingent can be split on multiple rentals per day. After the 3 free hours 1 € / 30 min and max. 9 € / 24 h per rental will apply.
Additionally students receive 30 free minutes per rental in Berlin. After the free minutes the Berlin basic tariff will apply.
You can use a single account to rent up to four bikes at once. The aforementioned benefits will however only apply to the first bike. This means you will be charged at the basic rate for each additional bike.
