Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike by TIER app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during a rental? First activate the park mode in the app and then press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station or for €1 extra along the pink marked streets and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from a station or pink street, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

Our tariffs
Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time on one account. The monthly/annual rate and special conditions usually only apply to the first bike. The monthly rate is valid throughout Germany except for Oldenburg, Usedom, Nuremberg, Kiel and Bremen. Between 5 pm – 8 am, a flat night tariff only for e-Bikes of 3 € applies to all tariffs. You can easily change your tariff in your mobic account under Account Settings. Alternatively, you can also rent a bike via our hotline: +49 (0) 341-392839 65.
Basic tariff
1 €/30 min
If you have not booked another tariff for standard bikes, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is 9 €/24 h.
Monthly tariff
10 €/month
The first 30 minutes of each standard bike rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 9 €/24 h).
Annual tariff
60 €/year
The first 30 minutes of each standard bike rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 9 €/24 h).
Basic tariff
e-Bikes
2 €/30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is 18 €/24 h. Night rate from 5pm – 8am.
Monthly tariff
e-Bikes
15 € / month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at basic rate for standard bikes or ebikes. Night rate from 5pm – 8am.
Annual tariff

90 € / year

VRS basic rate
0 €/30min
The first 30 minutes of each standard or ebike rental are free. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at basic rate for standard bikes or ebikes. Night rate from 5pm – 8am.
Night tariff e-Bikes
3 € / 17 PM - 8 AM
The night fare is valid from 5 pm until 8 am the following day. VRS chip card holders only pay 2 € for the night fare.
