Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
In non-coloured streets / zones and at stations, the return is free of charge. In the yellow zone, the return is possible with a €1 surcharge. Close the frame lock. The return is automatically recorded. If you return your bike away from the zones or stations, a service fee of at least 20 € will be charged.
Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The monthly subscription is valid throughout Germany (except for Oldenburg, Bremen, Mainz, Konstanz, Usedom and Nuremberg). You can change the tariff in your app Wallet.
Basic tariff
1,50 €/15 min
You pay a maximum of 19 € per 24 hours per rental.
You will be charged the basic tariff unless you have booked a different subscription.
Monthly subscription
10 €/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 19 €/24 h).
Day Pass
2,39 €/24 h
Get 30 minutes of travel time, which can be divided into several rentals in Berlin within 24 hours.
3-Day Pass
3,89 €/72 h
Get 60 minutes of travel time, which can be divided into several rentals in Berlin within 72 hours.
Week Pass
6,49 €/7 days
Get 120 minutes of travel time, which can be divided into several rentals in Berlin within 7 days.
