Information about the service fee at RSVG-bike

You have returned the bike improperly away from an official station in the rhine sieg area. There is a regular fee of 20 € per rental for returning bikes improperly. This fee does not apply to the first improper return. Please note that in case of repetition, the fee of 20 € will apply automatically. You can see the final charges for your rentals in your rental history in your app or in your customer account via the website login.

You can still avoid the fee: Go back to the bike and rent it again. The new rental will merge with the old one and the improper return fee will be cleared if you return the bike properly this time. Learn more about merging rentals.

Return options for RSVG standard bikes?

RSVG bikes may not be parked away from official stations. There is no flex zone! A fee of at least €20 will automatically be charged for improper returns.

At stations

You can return our bikes at any official RSVG-Bike station. Some of the stations are virtual, i.e. marked on the map with large markers, but there are not always station signs on site.

Return options for RSVG standard e-bikes?

Our e-bikes from RSVG-Bike may not be returned to normal stations that are not marked with a green flash, as well as away from stations in general. Please return the e-bike to an e-bike station marked with a green flash. In case of improper return, a fee of at least 20 € will be charged automatically.

At stations

You can return our e-bikes to any official station in the RSVG area. These stations are marked on the map by an additional green flash. The stations are partly virtual, i.e. the locations are marked on the map with large markers, but there are no station signs on site.

Return options for RSVG cargo bikes?

Cargo bikes may not be returned to any other station than their home station. For improper returns, a fee of at least 20 € will apply automatically.

At stations

Cargo bikes without electric support may only be rented and returned to their designated home stations. The respective home station is printed on the cargo bike.
Those stations are home stations to cargo bikes:

  • 33682 – Rathaus Troisdorf
  • 33681 – Ursulaplatz
  • 33509 – Siegburg Rathaus

Return options for RSVG e-cargo bikes?

E-cargo bikes may not be parked away from an e-cargo bike station. A fee of at least €20 will automatically be charged for improper returns.

At stations

E-cargo bikes must be returned to one of the following e-cargo bike stations:

  • 53807 – Hennef Rathaus
  • 33700 – Eitorf Markt
  • 33681 – Ursulaplatz
  • 53750 – Siegburg Bahnhof
  • 33513 – Siegburg Barbarossaplatz
  • 33541 – Siegburg Pfarrer-Frey-Platz
  • 33515 – Siegburg Kaldauen

Unjust fees? What now?

Due to slight GPS deviations, you may be charged a fee for inproper return even though you returned your bike at a station. No problem. Contact our hotline at +49 (0) 30 69205046 or send us a message via app with your registered mobile phone number, respective bike number and a short description of the problem. We will correct the rental.

Merge of rentals

Successive rentals of the same bike are merged if this is the cheaper option for the user. This means that the final rental period is calculated from the start time of the first rental and the return time of the second rental. The break between the two rentals is then also added to the rental time. If a fusion of both rentals would be the more expensive option, both rentals will stay separate.
