Our tariffsHow it works
Pedelecs can be rented and returned in the following municipalities: Friedrichsdorf | Neu-Anspach | Usingen.
Reserve a bike for up to 60 minutes. If the bike is not rented within this time, a cancellation fee of €1 will be charged.
Please note the different return rules for e-cargobikes.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from a station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

E-cargobikes can be rented at designated cargo bike stations. Use the filter function in the app. Each e-cargobike is assigned a home station to which it must be returned to. It is indicated on the transport box.

RETURN
Return the e-cargobike to its home station printed on the transport box. Press down the small lever on the frame lock. We charge a service fee of €20 for returns away from the home station.

Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The subscriptions are only valid within the flux Bikesharing scheme. In other cities the local basic rate applies.
Pedelec

You ride at the basic rate if you have not booked another tariff.
The maximum daily rate is €20 / 24 h per rental.
Over-night tariff:
From 8pm – 7am there is a maximum charge of €5 per rental.
e-Cargo
€3 /30 min
You ride at the basic rate if you have not booked another tariff.
The maximum daily rate is €26 / 24 h per rental.
Over-night tariff:
From 8pm – 7am there is a maximum charge of €5 per rental.
Monthly subscription
€15 / month
The first 30 minutes per rental are included.
Every additional 30 min will be charged according to the basic rate of the bike type.
The maximum daily rate is:
pedelecs: €18 / 24 h per rental
e-cargos: €24 / 24 h per rental

Annual subscription
€80 / year
The first 30 minutes per rental are included.
