Bikesharing in Berlin-Buch
How it works

REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Rent a nextbike at one of the stations in Berlin-Buch. Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return the bike to a station in Berlin-Buch and press down the small lever on the FrameLock. For returns away from stations in Berlin-Buch, e.g. in Berlin itself, we charge a service fee of €20.
Tariffs
All nextbike customers can cycle at the basic tariff without a discount.
All employees of Campus Berlin-Buch and Helios-Klinikum Berlin-Buch (except Charité) enjoy 30 free minutes per rental in Berlin-Buch. To take advantage of these benefits, simply link to the partner ‘Campus Berlin-Buch’ in the Wallet of your nextbike app, enter your work email address and confirm the verification link via email.
Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time on one account, but any discounts only apply to the first bike.
Basic tariff

The second 15 minutes cost €1.20, and each additional 15 minutes cost €1. You pay a maximum of €15/24 hours per rental.
You will be charged the basic tariff if you have not booked any other subscription in the nextbike app wallet.
Preferential tariff
For employees of Campus Berlin-Buch & Helios Clinic
Each additional 30 minutes costs €1.
You pay a maximum of €15/24 hours per rental.
The preferential tariff only applies in Berlin-Buch. In other systems, the local basic tariff applies.
Preferencial-monthly subscription
For employees of Campus Berlin-Buch & Helios Clinic
The first 30 minutes per rental are included. For each additional half hour, you pay €1 (max. €15/24 hours).
Valid in all German cities except Oldenburg, Mainz, Konstanz, Usedom, Nuremberg and Bremen.
