EDEKA<\/h2>\n

Sustainable shopping and exercise? This is now even better in Berlin with EDEKA and nextbike. We – EDEKA in Berlin – are cooperating with the operator of bicycle rental systems because we care about sport, healthy nutrition and sustainable action. Through the cooperation, EDEKA has increased the number of bikes in Berlin to 5.000 by the end of the year. Bicycles are available everywhere in a flex zone within and outside the S-Bahn ring. In addition, there are 2.500 stations throughout the city. This means that there is always a bicycle near every EDEKA store, where it can be rented and returned directly. Therefore, customers of our EDEKA stores in Berlin can now leave their cars at home. From now on, it’s “We help with wheellessness”.<\/p>\n

EDEKA has been committed to the issue of sustainability for years. For example, through projects with the WWF, energy-saving technology in and on our markets, reduction and avoidance of packaging waste or the offer of our reusable nets and cans. But sustainability does not only play a major role in the store itself. The best way to get to your EDEKA store and back is also environmentally friendly and by bike.<\/p>\n

How does it work? VBB \u2013 Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg<\/h2>\n

The VBB is a partner of nextbike by TIER. With the VBB-fahr<\/em>Card you can easiliy rent a bike by holding it up to the BikeComputer. The lock-code to park and unlock the bike will be sent to you via text message.<\/p>\n

You’re not a nextbike customer yet but you have a VBB-fahr<\/em>Card? Just hold your your VBB-fahr<\/em>Card up to the BikeComputer and follow the instructions. You will be asked to insert and confirm your phone number. Following that you will be sent a 6-digit PIN code via text message and the bike will be unlocked.
\nBefore you rent your second bike, you will have to verify your account by logging in to your customer account via app or\u00a0website\u00a0an adding a payment method. Without a valid payment method your account will be deactivated after the first rental.<\/p>\n

You are a nextbike by TIER customer yet? Simply hold your VBB-fahr<\/em>Card up to the BikeComputer and follow the instructions. You will be asked to insert your phone number in ordner to link your VBB account to your nextbike account.<\/p>\n

Jelbi<\/h2>\n

Jelbi is an alliance for the mobility of tomorrow. Here, more than two dozen sharing providers and public transport partners, including nextbike, have allied to test a new mobility – together with the area partners Apcoa and Gewobag and the technology partner Trafi. We are testing the “Jelbi principle” as a research and development cooperation until the end of 2021.<\/p>\n

The Jelbi app offers the numerous mobility services from journey planner to reservation and payment. Just register once. All in one app.<\/p>\n

Booking your journey is easy: download the Jelbi app to your smartphone, register quickly and off you go: Either enter your destination and compare connections. Or find stops and vehicles in the vicinity on the map. Book directly and start your journey immediately.<\/p>\n

The Jelbi stations bring the sharing offers to the S+U stations. Whether it’s a car, a bike or a scooter, you can rent, drop off or recharge vehicles here. Jelbi stations are also stops for taxis and on-demand shuttles.
